Blues Traveler is no blues band in the usual sense of the word. But I'm pretty sure of, that their fantastic harmonica player John Popper, have listened a lot to the old masters of blues harmonica to develope his own unique style. He's definitively one of the best on this planet on this instument! Blues Traveler plays a kind of hard rock with lots of influences from a lot of musical styles, from blues to progressive and beyond. Performed by extremely well skilled musicians.
The picture of the rails along the waterside is probably shot in black and white, then again coloured with blue on a PC with an image-manipulating program. What those two lights are supposed to imagine is hard to tell, but I guess that's excactly what the band wanted to achieve when they picked it out for this sleeve. A little mystery which leaves it up to us to think whatever slips into mind......
